BLM Donates Tables and Chairs to Thrissur Collectorate Canteen on New Year’s Day

Thrissur: On New Year’s Day, Bharath Lajhna Multi-State Housing Cooperative Society (BLM) donated tables and chairs to the Thrissur Collectorate Canteen. The event was inaugurated by Additional District Magistrate (ADM) T. Murali, who expressed gratitude to BLM for creating a better dining environment for both Collectorate employees and the public.ADM T. Murali highlighted that it is rare for one society to support another in such a meaningful way and commended BLM’s gesture. BLM CEO Naveen S. Nair expressed his happiness in being able to contribute to enhancing the facilities at the canteen, while BLM DGM K.M. Sudheer shared similar sentiments.During the ceremony, ADM T. Murali officially received the tables and chairs from BLM CEO Naveen S. Nair, who was honored with a ceremonial shawl. The event also featured a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the New Year, along with the launch of the BLM diary and calendar.BLM, known for its impactful initiatives under the motto “For the Welfare of the People”, has been setting benchmarks in cooperative services for the past 19 years, earning international recognition.The event was presided over by former Honorary Secretary of the Civil Station Government Officers’ Cooperative Society, K.V. Sanal Kumar, with the current Honorary Secretary delivering the welcome address and Director Board Member Nixon offering the vote of thanks.Indian Vartha Chief Editor S. Anand, along with staff from both the Collectorate and BLM, attended the event.
