Businessman Raj Kundra has issued his first public statement following a recent raid by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) linked to an ongoing investigation. In his statement, Kundra expressed strong displeasure over his wife, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, being mentioned in matters unrelated to her.
Kundra stated, “It is unacceptable to drag my wife into these issues when she has no involvement.” He emphasized that Shilpa Shetty has always maintained a professional and ethical approach in her career and personal life and should not be implicated in controversies that have no connection to her.
The ED raid is reportedly part of an inquiry into financial irregularities and money laundering allegations involving Kundra. While the investigation is ongoing, the businessman has denied any wrongdoing and assured full cooperation with authorities.
Shilpa Shetty has yet to comment on the situation. Fans and colleagues have rallied behind the actress, condemning attempts to tarnish her reputation by associating her with unrelated controversies.
