New Delhi: India experienced its warmest October in 123 years, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The nationwide temperatures soared above usual averages, marking a record-breaking month for heat.
IMD also forecasted that warm temperature trends will persist into November across the country. Nights are expected to be warmer than average in all regions except northwest India. With the heat expected to continue, many areas may experience unseasonably warm weather as winter approaches.
