Dubai: In the recently released Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusuffali has secured a prominent position among the world’s wealthiest individuals. The index ranks the top 500 billionaires worldwide based on their net worth.

Topping the list is Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and Tesla, with a staggering net worth of $263 billion. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, has climbed to second place, surpassing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Among Indian billionaires, Mukesh Ambani leads the way with a net worth of $105 billion, occupying the 14th position. Gautam Adani follows closely behind at 18th with a net worth of $99.5 billion.

Yusuffali is the sole Malayali representative on the list, ranked 487th with a fortune of $6.45 billion. This recognition underscores his substantial contribution to the retail and hypermarket sectors, particularly in the Middle East where Lulu Group has a strong presence.

Besides Yusuffali, other notable Indian billionaires on the list include Shiv Nadar, the founder of HCL, at 37th and Savitri Jindal, the only Indian woman on the list, at 49th.

Yusuffali’s inclusion in this prestigious index further solidifies his position as a leading figure in the global business community.
