New Delhi: India on Friday said deviations by Chinese forces from established patrolling patterns periodically disturb the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), stressing that border stability is vital for improving bilateral relations.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal made the remarks while responding to reports of continued confrontations between Indian and Chinese troops at several locations along the Arunachal Pradesh border.
He reiterated that maintaining peace and tranquillity in border areas remains essential for the overall development of India-China relations.
