New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday thanked the Prime Ministers of Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago and Ethiopia for their greetings on completing 25 years of service as the country’s head of government.
Modi thanked Grenada Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell for his warm wishes and said he valued the friendship between India and Grenada. He expressed his desire to further strengthen bilateral ties.
Responding to Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Modi said the friendship between the two countries was continuing to grow and expressed confidence that their partnership would be strengthened further in the coming years.
Modi also thanked Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali for his greetings and congratulated him on assuming office for another term. He recalled his visit to Ethiopia last December and his recent meeting with Abiy Ahmed Ali in New Delhi.
The Prime Minister said India greatly valued its strategic partnership with Ethiopia and looked forward to working with Abiy Ahmed Ali to deepen bilateral cooperation and friendship.
