New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday intensified his criticism of the Election Commission amid the ongoing controversy over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Gandhi claimed that those working against the Constitution had been exposed and said that justice would be delivered. He also announced that he would address a press conference at 4 pm to elaborate on the issue.
In a post on X, Gandhi used the hashtag #VoteChori while making the remarks.
The controversy comes amid a political dispute over the implementation of SIR and reports of differences within the Election Commission. Gandhi and other Opposition leaders have raised concerns about the electoral roll revision process.
