New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended his greetings to citizens on the occasion of Ayurveda Day, highlighting the enduring relevance of the traditional Indian system of medicine.
In his message, the Prime Minister described Ayurveda as more than a method of treating illnesses, emphasising its role in promoting a healthy and balanced way of life.
Modi called on people to deepen their connection with India’s traditional health heritage and incorporate its principles into their pursuit of overall well-being.
Marking the occasion, the Prime Minister also shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the holistic approach of Ayurveda and its emphasis on maintaining harmony between health and lifestyle.
