New Delhi: Chief Election Commissioner and Chairman of the Council of Member States of International IDEA, Gyanesh Kumar, on Tuesday met Costa Rica’s Ambassador to India, Néstor Gabriel Baltodano Vargas, at Nirvachan Sadan in New Delhi.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening democratic cooperation in line with the vision outlined at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IICDEM) 2026.
They also agreed to work closely to deepen cooperation in election management and enhance the training of election officials and staff.
