BJP Disrupts Jharkhand Assembly Over Recruitment Exam Irregularities, Demands CBI Probe

Ranchi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday disrupted proceedings in the Jharkhand Assembly over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted in the state, demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe under a court-monitored committee.

As the second day of the Monsoon Session began, BJP legislators entered the well of the House, raising slogans such as “Hemant Soren quit office” and protesting against the alleged recruitment scam.

The opposition accused the state government of failing to ensure transparency in the recruitment process and called for an independent investigation to bring those responsible to justice.

Amid the uproar, Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato repeatedly appealed to the protesting MLAs to return to their seats and allow the House to function. However, the BJP members continued their protest, leading to disruptions in the Assembly proceedings.
