Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government will begin distributing July’s welfare pensions from Friday (July 24).
The state has sanctioned ₹1,095 crore for the disbursement of welfare pensions. The government aims to complete the distribution of all pension payments before August 3.
The pensions to be distributed include those under various welfare fund boards, such as the Agricultural Workers’ Pension, Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension, Disability Pension, and Widow Pension.
The government said the funds have been allocated to ensure the timely payment of welfare pensions to eligible beneficiaries across the state.
