New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated the team of Skyroot Aerospace on the successful launch of Vikram-1, India’s first privately developed orbital launch vehicle, describing the achievement as a defining moment in the country’s space journey.
Speaking to the Skyroot Aerospace team after the launch, the Prime Minister said the growing participation of the private sector in India’s space programme is opening new frontiers and accelerating innovation.
Modi said the successful mission marks a major milestone for India’s expanding space ecosystem and reflects the country’s growing technological capabilities.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the achievement would inspire countless young Indians to dream bigger and innovate fearlessly, while extending his best wishes to the entire Skyroot Aerospace team for the historic success.
