Bhopal: Khajuraho Airport in Madhya Pradesh has been ranked the best airport in the country in the 2026 National Customer Satisfaction Index conducted by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), according to an official.
Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal also performed strongly, securing the third position in the national rankings.
Officials said the recognition reflects the high standards maintained by both airports in passenger facilities, cleanliness, security, and overall service quality, marking a significant achievement for Madhya Pradesh’s aviation sector.
Khajuraho Airport Director Santosh Singh said the top ranking is especially important for promoting tourism, as the airport serves as a key gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Khajuraho. He added that the recognition highlights the airport’s commitment to providing an excellent travel experience for passengers.
