Caracas: An Indian Army field hospital deployed in earthquake-hit Venezuela under Operation Amistad has become fully operational and is providing free round-the-clock medical services, officials said on Monday.

According to the Indian Embassy in Venezuela, a team of highly experienced Indian Army doctors has established a medical camp at the International La Rinconada Racetrack in Caracas to assist those affected by the earthquake.

The embassy said the field hospital is now fully functional, with medical services available 24 hours a day. All consultations and treatments are being provided free of cost as part of India’s humanitarian relief efforts.

The deployment under Operation Amistad reflects India’s commitment to supporting Venezuela during the ongoing disaster and providing timely medical assistance to those in need.
