PM Modi to Visit West Bengal; To Launch Projects, Release PM-KISAN Funds

Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit West Bengal on June 20 and 21 to participate in Paschimbanga Divas celebrations, release the latest PM-KISAN instalment and lead the International Day of Yoga programme.

At Tarakeswar in Hooghly district on June 20, Modi will launch and inaugurate multiple development projects related to railways, agriculture, fisheries and rural development. He will also release the 23rd instalment of PM-KISAN, transferring over ₹18,880 crore to more than 9.44 crore farmers across the country.

On June 21, the Prime Minister will lead the 12th International Day of Yoga celebrations in Kolkata under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”

Later, he will commission three indigenously built naval ships — INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak and INS Agray — at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, boosting India’s maritime and coastal security capabilities.
