Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in a mining accident in Shanxi Province.
In a message posted on X, Modi conveyed condolences on behalf of the people of India to Xi Jinping and the people of China.
The prime minister said he was saddened by the tragedy and prayed for strength for the bereaved families. He also wished for the early and safe recovery of the remaining missing persons.
