Bahrain Temporarily Bans Entry of Travellers From Three African Nations Amid Ebola Concerns

Rapid spread of the Ebola in several African countries has raised global concern, prompting Bahrain to introduce precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak from spreading.

The Bahraini authorities have temporarily barred the entry of travellers arriving from South Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda due to the increasing number of Ebola cases reported in those countries.

Officials said the travel restriction will remain in force for the next one month. They added that the ban would be lifted only if the spread of the disease comes under control.
