Gold prices in Kerala increased again on May 19, with the rate rising by ₹75 per gram compared to the previous day.
According to rates released on today, the price of 916 hallmark gold has reached ₹14,395 per gram. The rate for eight grams (one sovereign) now stands at ₹1,15,160.
Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is priced at ₹11,890 per gram, while the price for eight grams is ₹95,120.
In contrast, silver prices witnessed a slight fall. Silver is currently priced at ₹285 per gram and ₹2,280 for eight grams.
Jewellery traders said fluctuations in international market trends and investor sentiment continue to impact gold and silver prices in the domestic market.
