Chief Minister-designate V. D. Satheesan on Sunday announced the list of ministers for the new Kerala cabinet and submitted it to Rajendra Arlekar.
The leaders selected as ministers include Ramesh Chennithala, Sunny Joseph, K. Muraleedharan, Bindu Krishna, A. P. Anil Kumar, P. C. Vishnunath, M. Liju, Roji M. John, T. Siddique and O. J. Janish Kumar.
Sources said I. C. Balakrishnan and K. A. Thulasi are likely to become ministers later under a rotational arrangement.
Speaking to reporters, Satheesan said a decision had already been taken regarding the allocation of portfolios and the details would be submitted on Monday.
He also said several prominent leaders, including former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar, CPI leader Binoy Viswam, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, along with chief ministers from various states, are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
