PM Modi Launches Projects Worth Over ₹4,000 Crore in Sikkim

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday unveiled 30 development projects worth over ₹4,000 crore in Sikkim during the closing ceremony of the state’s 50th statehood celebrations.

The projects, with a total outlay of around ₹4,018 crore, cover key sectors including infrastructure, connectivity, healthcare, education, power, urban development, tourism, environment, and agriculture.

According to officials, the initiatives are aimed at boosting holistic and inclusive growth in the state, while strengthening public services and economic opportunities.

The Prime Minister’s visit to Sikkim is part of a broader effort to mark the milestone of 50 years of the state’s integration into the Indian Union, alongside the rollout of major development initiatives.
