New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid homage to Guru Tegh Bahadur on the occasion of his Parkash Purab, remembering him as a towering spiritual figure and a symbol of courage and sacrifice.
In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister highlighted Guru Tegh Bahadur’s life as an example of fearlessness, dedication to truth, and deep concern for humanity. He noted that the Sikh Guru stood firm in defending faith and dignity even in the face of severe adversity.
Modi expressed hope that the Guru’s teachings would continue to inspire people to build a just, compassionate and harmonious society.
Parkash Purab marks the birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur and is observed with devotion by the Sikh community across the country.
