3.1 Magnitude Tremor Jolts Gujarat’s Amreli, No Damage Reported

A mild earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale struck Amreli in Gujarat on Sunday evening, officials said. The tremor was recorded at 4:10 pm, with its epicentre located about 42 km south-southeast of Amreli in the Saurashtra region at a depth of 11.6 km, according to the Institute of Seismological Research.

Authorities confirmed that there were no reports of injuries or damage to property. This is the second tremor reported in the Saurashtra region within the past six days.
