Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Thrissur as part of the BJP-led NDA’s campaign for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will participate in campaign programmes for NDA candidate Padmaja Venugopal in the Thrissur constituency. He is also likely to take part in a roadshow in an open vehicle at Swaraj Round, a key location in the city.
After the event, Modi is expected to return, though details regarding his full itinerary are yet to be officially confirmed.
Reports also indicate that the Prime Minister may campaign for Shobha Surendran, the NDA candidate contesting from the Palakkad constituency.
An official schedule of the Prime Minister’s visit has not yet been released.
