BDJS Announces Final Phase of Candidates

Thiruvananthapuram: The Bharath Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS), an ally of the National Democratic Alliance, has announced the second phase of its candidate list for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections, completing its full line-up.

With the latest announcement of 11 candidates, the party has now declared all nominees for the 23 seats it plans to contest. Earlier, BDJS had released a list of 12 candidates. Party president Thushar Vellappally said that the party is contesting two more seats compared to the last Assembly elections, where it had fielded candidates in 21 constituencies.

Meanwhile, Thushar Vellappally also made allegations regarding the Kuttanad constituency, claiming that it is a “money-driven seat” for both the LDF and the UDF. He further alleged that the UDF candidate in the constituency is distributing money to voters.

Among the key candidates announced, Saji D Anand, who recently resigned from the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), will contest from Eravipuram. Other candidates include Advocate Anandaraj TP (Varkala), Advocate Pradeesh Prabha (Idukki), MP Binu (Kalamassery), Aji Narayanan (Kothamangalam), Isaac Varghese (Mannarkad), Athulya Ghosh (Kaippamangalam), and E Manish (Ponnani).
