Israel Plans More Weeks of War as Iran Conflict Intensifies

The conflict between Israel and Iran is set to continue, with Israel announcing plans for at least three more weeks of military operations. According to Israeli military spokesperson Nadav Shoshani, detailed plans are in place to continue strikes targeting Iran’s missile systems, nuclear facilities, and security infrastructure. He said the aim is to weaken Iran’s ability to threaten Israel.

The war, now involving the United States and Israel against Iran, has entered its third week with no clear end. The situation has affected global energy supply, especially through the Strait of Hormuz, where a large share of the world’s oil and gas passes. Disruptions in the region have pushed up oil prices and raised concerns about global inflation.

Donald Trump has called for a coalition of countries to help reopen the key shipping route. He also warned that NATO could face serious consequences if member nations do not support the United States. Meanwhile, Iranian drone attacks have caused disruptions in the Dubai area, including temporary closure of the Dubai International Airport and damage to an oil facility in the United Arab Emirates.

Iran has denied seeking a ceasefire. Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that Tehran has not sent any messages to the United States regarding ending the conflict. With both sides continuing attacks and no talks of peace, tensions in the region remain high.
