The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced Kavitha A. S. as its candidate from the Sultan Bathery constituency in the upcoming elections. Kavitha A.S., daughter of Sankaran and Devaki of Arimulaveettil, holds a B.A. and B.Ed. degree. She has been working in the Vanavasi sector for several years and has been an active member of the BJP.
She has experience in local governance, having served in the Bathery Municipality. She also held the position of constituency president for two terms. Kavitha has previously contested municipal elections from the Kidang ward twice.
Her husband, Raghu, works as a manager at Nadavayal Gramin Bank. The couple has two daughters. Ardra Lakshmi is pursuing MBBS at Government Medical College, while Nandana Lakshmi is studying BAMS at Government Ayurveda College. With experience in public service and party work, Kavitha A.S. is entering the electoral contest representing the BJP from Sultan Bathery.
