New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has scripted a new chapter in the digital arena, with his official YouTube channel surpassing an unprecedented 30 million subscribers. The milestone makes him the most-followed global leader on the platform, highlighting his extraordinary reach in the online world. Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who ranks next, has barely a quarter of Modi’s subscriber base, while US President Donald Trump trails far behind with nearly seven times fewer subscribers than the Indian Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister’s digital dominance is equally striking within India’s political landscape. His YouTube following is nearly three times that of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and more than four times the subscriber base of the official channels of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Indian National Congress. Adding to his growing online influence, Modi recently crossed 100 million followers on Instagram, reinforcing his position as one of the most powerful and widely followed political figures in the global digital space.
