New Delhi: On the occasion of National Science Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India’s firm resolve to harness the power of science and technology for national development and the greater global good. Highlighting India’s rapid strides in areas such as space exploration, digital transformation, biotechnology, renewable energy and artificial intelligence, the Prime Minister underscored that innovation and research are the cornerstones of a self-reliant and future-ready India.
Saluting the dedication of scientists, researchers and young innovators, he emphasised that their relentless pursuit of excellence continues to elevate India’s stature on the world stage. PM noted that strengthened research ecosystems, thriving start-up culture and world-class infrastructure are driving transformative change across healthcare, agriculture, climate action and clean energy. Calling upon the youth to nurture scientific temper and curiosity, the Prime Minister affirmed that India’s scientific progress will not only accelerate domestic growth but also serve humanity at large.
