Thiruvananthapuram: Season tickets will no longer be available through the Indian Railways’ UTS on Mobile app (Unreserved Ticketing System). The Railways have directed passengers to book and renew season tickets exclusively through their new integrated app, RailOne.
RailOne is a unified application that brings together multiple railway service apps on a single platform. While unreserved journey tickets and platform tickets will continue to be available on the UTS app, season tickets must now be obtained via RailOne. Passengers who have already booked season tickets through UTS will still be able to access them under the “Show Ticket” option.
The Railways have also announced incentives to encourage the use of the new app. From January 14 to July 14, 2026, passengers purchasing unreserved tickets through the RailOne app will receive a 3 percent discount, provided payment is made through any digital mode.
At present, RailOne already offers a 3 percent cashback on unreserved ticket bookings made via R-wallet payments, further promoting digital transactions.
