Malayattoor Mystery Turns Murder: 19-Year-Old Chithrapriya Found Dead, Boyfriend Arrested; Late-Night Footage Emerges

A shocking twist has emerged in the disappearance of 19-year-old Chithrapriya from Malayattoor. What began as a missing-person search has now turned into a full-fledged murder investigation. Police have arrested her friend Alan, after interrogation revealed crucial details suggesting he committed the crime while intoxicated.

Chithrapriya, an aviation student in Bengaluru, had gone missing on Saturday after stepping out to a nearby shop. Two days later, her decomposed body was discovered in an abandoned plot just a kilometre from her home. The chilling discovery was made after locals reported a foul smell coming from the area.

Initial examination pointed to a deep injury on the back of her head, strongly indicating homicide. Adding to the suspicion, police recovered a large stone near the body, stained with blood. The postmortem, scheduled for 10 AM, is expected to confirm the exact cause of death.

In a significant breakthrough, police obtained video footage showing Chithrapriya riding on a bike with friends at around 1 AM on Sunday night — the last known visual evidence before her tragic death.

Her death has sent shockwaves through the Malayattoor region, as investigators race to piece together the events that led to the brutal killing. The probe continues, with more details expected to unfold in the coming days.
