Authorities in Chhattisgarh have seized 3,841 LPG cylinders from 335 locations during a statewide crackdown against hoarding. A total of 97 FIRs have been registered as part of the enforcement drive.
The action was reviewed in a high-level meeting chaired by Vishnu Deo Sai. The meeting focused on ensuring adequate LPG availability and improving distribution amid concerns linked to the West Asia situation.
The chief minister directed officials to closely monitor stock and supply of cooking gas and petroleum products. He also ordered strict action against hoarding and profiteering.
