Kochi: Popular Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan is facing serious allegations after his longtime manager accused him of physical assault. The complaint, filed at the InfoPark Police Station, claims the actor attacked him at a DLF apartment in Kochi.
According to the complaint, tensions flared after Unni Mukundan’s latest film Get Set Baby underperformed. The manager had reportedly praised a rival film on social media, which allegedly triggered the assault. The complaint also alleges verbal abuse and a violent physical attack.
Police have recorded the manager’s statement and are currently reviewing the details before registering a formal case. The manager also approached FEFKA (Film Employees Federation of Kerala) and sought hospital treatment prior to filing the police complaint.
So far, Unni Mukundan has not responded to the allegations. The complainant, who had been managing the actor for several years, reportedly had a strained relationship with him in recent times.
The incident has sparked a wave of reactions within the film industry, with many waiting for the actor’s side of the story.
