UAE President on Brief India Visit; Modi’s Warm Airport Welcome Highlights Strong Bilateral Ties

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in India on a short but high-profile visit on Monday, underscoring the deep and evolving partnership between New Delhi and Abu Dhabi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally received the UAE leader at the Palam Air Base, a gesture that reflected the warmth and closeness of ties between the two nations.

Calling him “my brother,” Prime Minister Modi shared photographs of the reception on social media, describing the visit as a symbol of the strong friendship between India and the UAE. He said he was looking forward to discussions with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. The Prime Minister welcomed the visiting President with a warm embrace, and both leaders travelled together in the same car from the airport to the venue of their meeting.
