Three of a family stabs to   death by spurned lover

Chhapra , July 18 (IVC)  A  19-year-old  youth  stabbed  a  man  to  death and  his  two  minor  daughters  and injured  his wife, in Bihar’s Saran district after  his   one-sided love for  one  of  the girls was  rejected, police  said here yesterday.

                Police  gave  the  name  of the deceased  as Tarkeshwar  Singh  (55),  and exorcist by  profession,  and  his   daughters –Chandani  Kumari (16) and Vibha  Kumari  (15).  Singh’s wife Shova  Devi  who  suffered grievous injuries  in the  attack  was  undergoing treatment, the  police  said.

                The  incident  occurred  in Dhanadih village around   0200  hours on  July 16 when the  family  was  sleeping  on the  terrace  of  their  house. Sudhanshu  Kumar  alias  Roshan and his friend  Ankit  Kumar (18) , both  residents  Rasulpur, have been  arrested, police said  adding  the duo  had confessed  the  crime.

                Police  have  also  seized the  blood-stained  weapon used in  the  triple murder .  “We have  also called  for  FSL team to  collect  evidence.  A  speedy trial  has  been recommended in the case”, the  SP  Kumar Ashish said.

                The  villagers  said Sudhanshu  had  a  one-sided love  for  Chandani , a  class  X  student.  When her parents  learnt  about  this, they  advised  her  to  avoid  interacting  with  him.
