Thiruvananthapuram: The Christmas–New Year markets organised by Supplyco will begin across Kerala from Monday and continue till December 31, offering consumers attractive discounts and festive deals. Special offers will be available on over 280 products, with price reductions ranging from 5% to 50% on branded essential commodities.
As part of the festive bonanza, 20 kg of rice will be made available at ₹25 at fair price shops. Customers purchasing non-subsidised goods worth more than ₹500 will receive one kilogram of Shabari salt for just ₹1.
Adding to the festive cheer, Supplyco is introducing a special “Santa Offer” kit for Christmas. The kit contains 12 essential items, including cake, sugar, tea, payasam mix, Shabari appam powder and spices. The kit, originally priced at ₹667, will be available for just ₹500.
The state-level inauguration of the Christmas–New Year markets will be held on Monday at 10 am at Putharikandam Nayanar Park, Thiruvananthapuram, and will be inaugurated by Food Minister G. R. Anil. Special markets will also be set up at Putharikandam Maidanam (Thiruvananthapuram), Asramam Maidanam (Kollam), Rose Mount Auditorium (Pathanamthitta), Thirunakkara Maidanam (Kottayam), Marine Drive (Ernakulam), and Thekkinkadu Maidanam (Thrissur). Additionally, a festive market will function at one major Supplyco outlet in every taluk across the state.
Customers refuelling at Supplyco petrol pumps will also benefit from festive offers. Two-wheelers and autorickshaws refuelling for ₹250, and other vehicles refuelling for ₹1,000 or more, will receive special coupons. A ₹50 discount will be available on the purchase of subsidised goods worth ₹1,000 using these coupons.
Meanwhile, Supplyco announced that its modern shopping mall chain, Signature Mart, will be launched in Thalassery and Kottayam in January, further expanding its retail footprint.
