Thrissur: The State School Kalolsavam witnessed high drama and electrifying performances on its opening day, with Kozhikode and Kannur emerging as joint leaders in a thrilling race for the championship. Both districts topped the points table with 130 points each, underlining the fierce competition at Kerala’s biggest cultural festival for students.
Thrissur followed closely in second place with 126 points, while Alappuzha and Palakkad shared the third position, each securing 122 points. Thiruvananthapuram stood fourth with 121 points, and Kollam claimed the fifth spot with 120 points.
Kottayam garnered 119 points, Kasaragod 117, Ernakulam 116, Malappuram 112, Wayanad 107, and Pathanamthitta 101 points.
With several days of competition still ahead and districts pushing hard to climb the rankings, the Thrissur Kalolsavam has transformed into a pulsating arena of talent, colour, and intense rivalry, promising more excitement in the days to come.
