South India is gearing up for a cinematic storm as Coolie, Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, hits theaters with early morning fanfare. Advance bookings opened in Kerala on August 8 at 10 AM, with select cinemas offering an exclusive 6 AM First Day First Show (FDFS) on August 14—a treat for die-hard fans.
While Kerala and Karnataka will wake up to Coolie at dawn, Tamil Nadu will see its first screenings at 9 AM, in compliance with a government mandate restricting ultra-early shows after a tragic incident during a film release in 2023.
Coolie is also creating waves internationally. In North America, advance ticket sales have already crossed $1 million, signaling a massive global reception even before the film hits the screens.
