Rajan J. Pallan Begins Campaign in Thrissur with Tribute to K. Karunakaran

Rajan J. Pallan, the UDF candidate for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections in Thrissur constituency, began his campaign by paying tribute to former Chief Minister K. Karunakaran. He visited Murali Mandir today morning and laid flowers at the memorial. The visit took place a day after the Indian National Congress announced its first phase candidate list, which includes Rajan J. Pallan.

Speaking after the tribute, Rajan said remembering leaders who strengthened the Congress movement gives him energy for the campaign. Later, he visited the residence of former minister and senior Congress leader C. N. Balakrishnan, where he met and interacted with the family members. He said he would carry forward the development vision of senior leaders for the progress of Thrissur. Rajan had also met senior Congress leader and former Kerala Assembly Speaker Therambil Ramakrishnan the previous day.

A roadshow led by UDF leaders is scheduled at 4 pm today. It will begin from the Thrissur DCC office and conclude near the Corporation office. Rajan J Pallan, a former mayor of Thrissur Corporation, is expected to actively engage with voters in the coming days through family meetings across wards.
