Rahul Gandhi in the US: BJP and Modi Won’t Inspire Fear After 2024 Elections

During his four-day tour of the United States, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made bold predictions about India’s political future. He asserted that following the results of the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, neither the BJP nor Prime Minister Narendra Modi would continue to instill fear in the Indian people. According to Gandhi, the political landscape is shifting, with voters focusing on more meaningful issues rather than fear-based politics.

He reflected on the success of his Bharat Jodo Yatra, a nationwide campaign to foster unity and compassion, noting that it has brought love and empathy back into India’s political discourse. By spotlighting pressing issues such as economic struggles, inequality, and challenges faced by everyday citizens, Gandhi positioned himself as a leader offering hope and positivity, in contrast to what he perceives as divisive tactics by the current government.

This visit is seen as part of his broader strategy to present himself as a strong alternative to Modi’s leadership in the lead-up to the crucial 2024 elections.
