Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated the newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Manipur along with the members of the state’s Council of Ministers, following the oath-taking ceremony. In his message, the Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to the new government and expressed confidence that it would work with commitment and integrity to meet the aspirations of the people of Manipur. Emphasising the need for peace, development and inclusive growth, PM called for collective efforts to strengthen governance and public welfare in the state. The Prime Minister also reaffirmed the Centre’s continued support to the Manipur government in ensuring stability, progress and prosperity for the people.
