Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital in Delhi on Wednesday evening to meet the victims of the recent blast near the Red Fort. The Prime Minister’s visit came just hours after his return from Bhutan, underscoring the government’s commitment to stand by the injured and their families during this difficult time.
During his visit, PM Modi personally interacted with the victims and their relatives, inquiring about their health and the treatment being provided. Doctors and hospital authorities briefed him on the medical status of those injured in the explosion. The Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the incident and assured all possible assistance for the victims’ recovery.
Taking to social media after his visit, PM Modi said, “Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s speedy recovery. Those behind this conspiracy will be brought to justice.” His words sent a strong message that those responsible for the attack will face strict action.
Tight security arrangements were in place during the Prime Minister’s visit to the hospital. The Delhi Police and central security agencies have intensified their investigation, with national intelligence units also joining the probe.
The blast, which occurred near the Red Fort traffic zone on November 10, claimed at least 12 lives and left several others injured. The incident has sent shockwaves through the capital, prompting an immediate review of security protocols.
PM Modi’s quick outreach to the victims not only reflected his government’s empathy but also emphasized India’s resolve to fight terrorism with determination. His visit has strengthened public confidence that justice will be served and that the safety of citizens remains the government’s top priority.
