New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid out a bold and transformative roadmap for a developed India by 2047 during his keynote address at the ABP Network India@2047 Summit held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The summit marked a strategic vision-setting moment as India approaches the 100th year of independence.
Calling the current decade a defining one, PM Modi spotlighted India’s rising self-reliance in key sectors such as defense and manufacturing. He announced ‘Mission Manufacturing’, a new initiative aimed at positioning India as a global export powerhouse.
Underscoring the strength of India’s democratic model, the Prime Minister highlighted that over 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty in the past decade. He credited schemes like the Mudra Yojana for empowering citizens and creating grassroots economic momentum.
PM Modi also spoke of preserving India’s cultural legacy, mentioning the construction of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Memorial in Delhi as a symbol of respect for national icons and India’s social reform journey.
The summit drew a wide range of notable figures, including Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, adventurer Bear Grylls, and former cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir, all contributing to dialogues around India’s developmental future.
