Bengaluru has entered a new era of urban mobility as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Yellow Line of the Bangalore Metro (Phase 2) and laid the foundation for the Phase 3 Orange Line—transformative projects worth nearly ₹22,800 crore. The Yellow Line, stretching over 19 km with 16 elevated stations, is set to serve up to 2.5 lakh passengers daily by March 2026, while the 44 km Orange Line will cater to Bengaluru’s future transit demands. Alongside, the PM flagged off three Vande Bharat Express trains, enhancing regional connectivity. On the national front, Modi lauded the success of “Operation Sindoor,” showcasing India’s capability to destroy terrorist hideouts deep across borders and force adversaries into submission within hours—projecting a bold new image of India on the global stage.
