Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on December 13, where he will inspect ongoing preparations for the Mahakumbh Mela 2025 and launch development projects exceeding ₹6,670 crore. The visit highlights the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and services ahead of the grand event, which is expected to draw millions of pilgrims.
During his visit, PM Modi will review projects aimed at improving roads, water supply, sanitation, and public facilities in the newly designated Mahakumbh Nagar district, formed specifically to manage the Mahakumbh Mela smoothly. Additionally, significant investments will focus on upgrading Prayagraj’s urban infrastructure to support the influx of visitors.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed local authorities to ensure all arrangements are completed ahead of the PM’s visit, with beautification efforts, road improvements, and the illumination of key locations underway.
