Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation via video message on Parakram Diwas, marking the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Honoring Netaji’s dedication to India’s freedom, the Prime Minister highlighted how his vision continues to inspire efforts toward creating a stronger, self-reliant nation.
PM Modi spotlighted India’s remarkable progress over the past decade, including lifting 25 crore citizens out of poverty, bolstering military capabilities, and building modern infrastructure across rural and urban regions. He expressed confidence in India’s rise as the world’s third-largest economic power in the near future.
To honor Netaji’s legacy, a grand three-day celebration was held in Cuttack, Odisha, his birthplace. The event, inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, featured exhibitions, artistic depictions of Netaji’s life, and book collections aimed at inspiring youth through the Meri Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) initiative.
Urging the youth to draw inspiration from Netaji’s courage and vision, PM Modi called upon them to step out of their comfort zones and contribute to building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). He emphasized the importance of national unity and collective efforts as the true tribute to Netaji’s legacy.
