PM Modi Interacts with Republic Day Participants, Emphasizes Unity and National Progress

Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, tribal guests, and tableaux artists gearing up for the 76th Republic Day celebrations. He highlighted the importance of national unity and cultural diversity, urging participants to connect with people from different states to strengthen the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’

During the interaction, vibrant cultural performances showcased India’s rich heritage. PM Modi stressed the need for fulfilling civic duties to achieve a developed India and encouraged youth participation through the My Bharat portal. He discussed key government initiatives like women’s empowerment and affordable digital connectivity under the ‘Digital India’ program.

The Prime Minister also promoted discipline, cleanliness, and fitness through campaigns like ‘Fit India’ and ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,’ an initiative to plant trees in honor of mothers. Foreign guests praised India’s hospitality and expressed joy in participating in the celebrations.

The Republic Day Parade will feature a grand cultural performance with over 5,000 artists and 45 unique dance forms from across India, followed by a ceremonial march past. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will be the Chief Guest, with a 352-member Indonesian marching contingent participating for the first time.

This year marks the debut of a Tri-services tableau, symbolizing jointness and integration among the Armed Forces. PM Modi’s interaction reflects his commitment to empowering youth and celebrating India’s cultural heritage as the nation prepares to commemorate its 76th Republic Day with grandeur.
