PM Modi Inaugurates ₹11,000 Crore National Highway Projects

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated two major National Highway projects worth ₹11,000 crore, aimed at boosting connectivity and easing traffic congestion in the Delhi region.

The projects include the Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway (10.1 km) and the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II), which will serve as a crucial link between Delhi, Gurugram, and key highways leading to Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.

Speaking at the inauguration event in Rohini, Delhi, the Prime Minister said the projects will reduce travel time, cut pollution, and accelerate economic growth by improving seamless connectivity around the national capital.

Officials noted that these highways will not only decongest Delhi traffic but also benefit lakhs of daily commuters and boost logistics efficiency in the NCR region.
