New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) platform as a shining example of how technology can revolutionize governance. Speaking on its impact, the Prime Minister emphasized that PRAGATI has successfully broken down silos in government operations, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion of critical projects.
Launched in 2015, PRAGATI integrates digital communication, data analysis, and real-time monitoring to track progress on infrastructure, public service delivery, and flagship government programs. It provides a direct channel for the Prime Minister to interact with state and central authorities, addressing bottlenecks and expediting decision-making.
PM Modi credited the platform for accelerating numerous development initiatives across sectors, ranging from highways and railways to health and education. He reiterated his vision of leveraging technology to create a governance system that is transparent, efficient, and accountable.
“PRAGATI represents the spirit of New India where technology and governance work hand-in-hand to transform lives,” the Prime Minister stated.
