Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday addressed the Indian community in Oman, praising their contribution to the host nation and describing them as a “living example of coexistence and cooperation.” The interaction took place amid a warm and enthusiastic reception from members of the Indian diaspora during his official visit to the Gulf nation.
Addressing a large gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted India’s strong economic performance, noting that the country continues to maintain a high growth rate despite global economic challenges. He said this progress reflects India’s resilience, reform-driven governance, and the confidence of the global community in India’s future.
PM Modi lauded the Indian expatriates for strengthening people-to-people ties between India and Oman, and for upholding Indian values while contributing positively to Omani society. He underlined that the Indian community abroad plays a crucial role in enhancing India’s global image.
