PM Modi Distributes Over 71,000 Appointment Letters in Rozgar Mela, Empowering Youth and Promoting Inclusivity

Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals across Central Government departments and organizations. Conducted via video conferencing, the initiative is part of the government’s ongoing Rozgar Mela program, aimed at generating employment and empowering the youth to contribute to nation-building .

In his address, PM Modi emphasized the government’s dedication to employment generation, highlighting that nearly 10 lakh permanent government jobs have been created in the past year and a half. He praised the transparent and inclusive recruitment process, noting that exams are now available in 13 regional languages, ensuring greater accessibility for diverse candidates.

The Prime Minister also spotlighted the growing participation of women in the workforce, mentioning initiatives like extended maternity leave and house ownership under PM Awas Yojana in women’s names as key drivers of women’s empowerment.

The Rozgar Mela was simultaneously held at 45 locations across India, with appointees joining key ministries such as the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Department of Financial Services .

This initiative underscores the government’s focus on youth empowerment, gender equality, and transparent governance as pillars of India’s growth story.
